ProLogis Joins the Ride

More than 2,000 riders will take to the hills for The Children’s Hospital Courage Classic 2010, July 31, through August 2. As in past years, the tour will be based out of Copper Mountain and will cover 157 miles of the prettiest places in Colorado, including a climb up Vail pass and a cruise down the bike path from Copper Mountain into Dillon.

We are pleased to announce that Denver-based ProLogis has joined the Courage Classic as our 2010 Presenting Partner.

Support from corporate partners like ProLogis is essential for any successful event
“Year after year, Courage Classic riders, teams, volunteers and partners come together to support The Children’s Hospital, and year after year, we are rewarded by a wonderful weekend together,” said Tour Director, Cary Larger.

“We are so grateful to have ProLogis as our partner this year. Their support will mean that even more of our community’s contributions will be used where they are needed most—to help children and families at the hospital, ” she said.

Corporate partners underwrite much of the cost of putting on a large and complex event, allowing more of the funds raised to support the patients and families we serve.

“ProLogis is excited to sponsor the Courage Classic this year,” said Jack Rizzo, chief sustainability officer at ProLogis. “As a company, we are committed to supporting youth and education in our community, and this event is clearly aligned with that mission. Beyond our sponsorship, we are strongly encouraging participation internally, and hope to raise even more money for Children’s through our employees worldwide—we already have more than 20 riders signed up on our team, including employees from Korea, Europe and North America. This is an anticipated annual event, and we are thrilled to be involved in such a significant way.”

A Denver-based company, ProLogis is a leading global provider of distribution facilities, with more than 475 million square feet of industrial space in markets all across North America, Europe and Asia. ProLogis leases industrial space to manufacturers, retailers, transportation companies, third-party logistics providers and other enterprises with large-scale distribution needs.
