Charles C. Gates was honored as Westerner, accomplished business leader, a man of vision, and a generous philanthropist. Established in 2006, the Charles C. Gates Society honors Charles Gates and recognizes donors who have contributed $1 million or more to The Children’s Hospital during their lifetimes or through their estates. Like Charles C. Gates, Gates Society donors are visionaries. Through their philanthropy, they have moved The Children’s Hospital forward to become better, stronger and more effective in caring for children and have made lasting invaluable investments towards a more vital and compassionate city, state and region.
