Tammen Society: Are You In?
It’s simple, it’s automatic. If you include The Children’s Hospital in your will, you become a member of the Tammen Society. “The Tammen Society keeps donors in touch with the hospital and its future during their own lifetime so they can see what good their gift will create,” said Leslie Schaeffer, Vice President of Principal Gifts. “I want them to feel great about making a difference at the hospital and in the lives of the thousands of children we treat each year.” While many people are generous to include Children’s in their will, their intentions can be so selfless they do not let us know about their decision. If you have listed Children’s in your will, please let us know so we may recognize you and tell you more about the impact your future gift will make for the children we treat. Tammen Society Benefits Individuals who include Children’s in their will automatically become members of the Tammen Society. Benefits afforded to Tammen Society members include:
This year, the Foundation has hosted two Tammen Society recognition luncheons. Fifty people attended the most recent luncheon on September 10 and heard Children’s patient Michelle Gaffney speak about her ongoing treatment for scoliosis. These events allow you to meet patients and more concretely envision the impact of your gift. Thinking About Giving to Children’s Through Your Will?
